CORRECTION: The Yerkes Star Party is Saturday, February 25. Please note this correction on the flyer you received in the mail to avoid confusion.
The REC DEPT is undergoing changes to better meet the needs of our community. The look of the printed brochure has changed and it will be distributed quarterly. The newly designed brochure will be released in late February to announce Spring 2012 programs. We have created a mini-flyer for January and February of this year to bridge the gap and keep you informed as we make the transition.

REC DEPT programming will now be based on the following quarterly schedule:
Winter (December, January, February)
Spring (March, April, May)
Summer (June, July, August)
Fall (September, October, November)
This change will provide better consistency and improve communication. Our website will be the first place for new updates as we continue to expand and improve our programming.

•Morning/ Twilight Winter Wonderland Guided Walks. Cross Country Ski trails will also be open all day.
1:00 - 3:00 pm @ Lions Field House
•Adult Snowshoe Softball Tournament at Lions Field. Register your team today!
•Kids Winter Track & Field Events and Skill Course at Lions Field. Open to all ages.
1:00 - 3:00 pm @ Yerkes Observatory
Alien/ UFO Snow Building Competition. Registration Required to reserve a space.
